Connie: There's a girl in my history class who uses the word dichotomy every day.
Nancy: I hate that word because of people like that.
Nancy: I also hate the word diaspora. And that word dad used for philosophy. Dialectics.
Nancy: Hey, they all begin with "di"
Carter: I hate genocide.

Cheesecake Factory
I wanted to update everyone on the how I used one of the gifts Brad and Nancy gave me. I took out a girl who was born in Provo and grew up in Calgary, AB. Date went OK, but here's a funny dialogue. She was telling me about Ward conference, which I missed because it was the SundayI was back home. The Stake Presidency announced that of the ninety or so endowed brothers in the ward, only forty-four have a current temple recommend.
"President Austin that there is something sisters can do about, and that is to ask an elder to go to the temple with you. I feel like it's not my job to make sure the elders go to the temple."
"At BYU they told us to tell girls to dress modestly."
"If a guy told me that I would slap him on the side of the head."
"Why?"
"I don't know; I kind of a feminist, and I don't think it's my job to police guys' thoughts."
"Well in that case..."
"[Chuckle]"
She exhibited an attitude I encountered from a couple of female investigators on my mission.
