Family History Discovery: We are Rednecks

I was taking a look at the 鍾姓大宗普, our genealogical history book, and translating it into English for temple work purposes. I was surprised to uncover our redneck heritage.

The family trees contain only male names, with the last names of people to which they were married. The last couple of generations had their wives' full names. In our family, only Carter, York, and myself are listed. Nancy, Connie, Eleanor and Annie are missing.

Upon examining the family tree, it goes only one way, the father's way. It does not branch. And Jeff Foxworthy noted, "If your family tree doesn't branch, you might be a redneck."

Let's take this time to celebrate our redneck heritage.

You have that book??? I've been trying to get that book for ever. Well, good thing you found it. You can do the family history much more efficiently.

Yeah, I remember looking for me and Connie in that book and discovering that we didn't count. Oh well.

Good for you for doing the family history...
